Eligibility
.hr is restricted. The registrant must fall into one of:
- A Croatian citizen or registered resident of Croatia.
- A legal entity registered in Croatia (company, association, public body).
- The holder of a Croatian trademark matching the requested domain.
- An EU citizen or business under specific provisions; the domain must match a name registered with the relevant trade authority.

Things to know
.hr registrations are not instant. Unlike most ccTLDs, expect 1 to 3 business days while the registry checks the supporting documents. Renewals and transfers are quicker once the registrant is on file.
